PANORAMA: How VIPs motorists in Kampala set a bad example

Uganda’s road carnage continues to soar to staggering figures and it is estimated that about 12 people are dying on average each day, according to police statistics. But there are fears that the errant behaviour is largely a replica of the indisciplined driving by VIPs in Kampala many of whom are not entitled to a right of way, which now trickles down to other motorists.
