Minister of ICT and National Guidance Judith Nabakooba says government expects private schools to open for non-candidate classes on the first of March. This after an association of private school owners threatened not to open over what they called failure by government to release 22 billion shillings relief money for private schools as promised by President Museveni in the wake of COVID-19 disruptions. Speaking about last week's brutality on journalists by military police, Nabakooba said they are to propose regulations for journalists to follow while on duty to avoid future confrontations.
