Term limits debate back on order paper

A section of members of parliament have accused the Chairperson of the Legal and Parliamentary Affairs Committee Jacob Oboth and some of his committee members of duping the public and smuggling in the extension of the term of political leaders from 5 to 7 years in the Constitutional amendment bill. The MPs claim such a proposal was not part of the original Private members bill tabled by Ndorwa East MP, Wilfred Niwagaba.
