Uganda has received a grant of Shs101 billion from China as a commitment to the implementation of economic and technical cooperation between the two countries. The donation stems from an agreement made during The Forum on China–Africa Cooperation summit last year, where China announced plans to elevate its relations with Uganda by supporting critical sectors like agriculture and health. Finance Minister Matia Kasaija says the grant will boost Uganda's economy.
