Minister Ecweru launches Karuma bridge repair works

Earlier this week, legislators from the West Nile region expressed dissatisfaction with the delays in repairing Karuma Bridge, which was closed two months ago due to cracks that made it unsafe. Heavy vehicles traveling north have been diverted to alternate routes, causing significant inconvenience and financial strain on transporters and other road users.
