KAMPALA. Uganda Registration Services Bureau (URSB) has won global recognition for improved service delivery, client satisfaction, innovation and leadership.

The Golden Award for Quality and Business Prestige is presented to a company as an entity, for corporate achievement to recognise prestige, innovation, quality and technology.

OtherWays Management and Consulting Firm, an international research organisation based in France, awarded URSB for the quality of services and improvements registered over the years.

URSB’s selection was based on information gathered from the media, consultancy companies, advertising agencies, trade fairs and exhibitions, chambers of commerce, embassies, and polls, among other sources.

Talking to journalists in Kampala, URSB registrar general Bemanya Twebaze, who received the award in Geneva, Switzerland last week, said the award offers the agency an opportunity to establish commercial and professional contacts and a chance of presenting their products in an international forum.

“This award is an encouragement for us to reflect on performance levels attained and motivate individuals and teams to look at the way they work.”
