Simon Peter Kazibwe, the plan’s designer, says, this house sleek and sophisticated design, fits perfectly in an urban setting because it is designed to accommodate and accentuate modern living. “Inspired by contemporary living, the home has open floor plans that combine spaces for dining, relaxing and entertaining,” Kazibwe notes. The airflow design is perfect for places with a warmer climate because it potentially keeps the house cool.
“The idea was to create clean, open spaces that allow the architecture, the furniture, and the materials in the room to breathe,” Kazibwe explains. An open floor plan between kitchen and living areas lets an abundance of light fill the space. To complement the design, the wall surfaces are painted a neutral color palette with a few splashes of colour if you like.
The plan fits nicely into a large plot starting from 100mx100m and above. It is estimated to cost approximately Shs200m to construct. The finishing is done with simple materials such as stone, glass and brick that exude calmness, warmth, and the beauty that comes with these kinds of spaces.

Its exterior sharp angles stands in contrast to the fluidity of the interior that leads the viewer into a spacious and unassuming interior. The contrast between the sharp angles of the plan and the dynamism of the spaces inside make the house exciting and unique.
