Routes you should avoid using due to early morning traffic jam

Many Kampala streets are experiencing traffic jam due to the early morning downpour that begun at around 6 am on February 27. It has also rained in Jinja and Mukono.

We have talked to various people who have given us updates on the current traffic situations on the roads.

Owino Samuel Owisa says, “We are experiencing a lot of traffic jam here in Luwero nakaseke road, even no way for pedestrians.”

Priscillar Moryn Biseera: Traffic jam z too much here on Entebbe Kampala road. But we still expect a good day a head though a cold one.

Rt Honourable Mafabi Isaac: It's maaaaaaaaaad in wandegeya and all around Makerere University.

Amos Kakumba: It's too much here in Lubigi Northern By-pass.

Brenda Opio Labong: The traffic along Entebbe-Kampala road has already piled up as usual, but will hopefully clear at about 10-11am.

Mukisa Charles: Gayaza road it's too much traffic jam.

Komakech Simonpeter: In Ntinda its worse. We have taken 45 minutes from Ntinda stage to Victory City Church Ntinda and not moving an inch.

Eropu Isaac: it's raining Mukono as well.

Leah Mugoya: Namugongo road!!!!! This jam is for world cup...... By 6. 30am..... We were stuck.

Olema S Halid: It has over poured in Jinja.

Gerald E Ralph: Still raining heavily here at Entebbe Airport.

Kibirige Ibrahim: Much jam on Northern Bypass.

Nelson Baluku: Not too much here in Mengo.

Abale Daniel O'bryan II: Nightmare along Kireka.

Gideon Akisoferi: Jam in Wandegeya.

Tusingwire Julius: In kyenjojo it's raining but no traffic jam since there are no traffic police officers to cause it.

Noah Ssekachwa: Banda is worse.
