KAMPALA. For three years now, City Tyres and the official Formula One tyre manufacturers, Pirelli, have partnered to give Ugandans a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity of watching the world’s premier motorsport event from the front row seats at prestigious Yas Marina Circuit in Abu Dhabi.

Speaking at the launch of this year’s promotion held at the Mandela Group Headquarters along 6th Street Industrial Area, Herbert Bashaasha, the City Tyres Marketing Manager, revealed that the previous promotions have been a huge success and therefore, they agreed to keep it going. “We are committed to giving back to our customers. Those who have been lucky to go with us to Abu Dhabi can testify that when we say we shall deliver, we mean it.”

Robert Gow, who represented Pirelli, promised more rewards from the partnership for users of the Italian-manufactured tyre.
The Yas Marina Circuit is the venue for the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, the final on the Formula One calendar. It is situated on Yas Island, with some of the best views in Abu Dhabi and the United Arab Emirates.

To enter the draw, City Tyres customers will have to buy four Pirelli tyres and fill a coupon from all City Oil branches all over Kampala. Draws shall be held every month.

The monthly draws shall be categorized into four sections; the first winner gets a fully expenses paid trip to Abu Dhabi, the second winner full vehicle service at City Oil with the third and fourth winners to be handed 50 liters of fuel and a dinner for two at Cafe Javas respectively.
