He is still not seeded among the top eight and so, he can turn up at any venue just like 2015 Open winner Amos Ndyagumanawe. The preliminary round resumes at different 53 venues this weekend with 15 of those around Kampala.
David Owori, who has made it to the Lugogo finals thrice in five years, could feature when action takes centre stage at his famous hang-out spot Capital Pub in Kabalagala on Friday night.
The mini-qualifiers will go as far as Arua, Masindi, Pader, Kitgum, Kiboga and Lira this weekend.
