Police search for man who kicked his wife to death
AGAGO- Police in Agago District are searching for a man who allegedly killed his wife in a domestic brawl.
The man, a resident of Lukole Sub-county, allegedly kicked Beatrice Akoko, 22, to death.
According to a witness, the suspect kicked the woman several times and when she became unconscious, he took off.
Akoko died while being rushed to Kalongo Hospital. She is survived by three-month-old twins.
Agago District Police Commander, Mr Albert Onyango said on Tuesday that they have dispatched a team to locate where the suspect is hiding and upon arrest, he would be charged with murder.
“I am told the suspect is not an alcoholic. One wonders what came over him to kill his wife,” he said.
