Uneb releases UACE today

KAMPALA. The Uganda National Examinations Board (UNEB), the agency in charge of grading learners in the country, is expected to release the 2018 Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education (UACE) results today.
The release of the exams results was confirmed yesterday by the Ministry of Education and Sports spokesperson, Mr Patrick Muinda.
“They will be released tomorrow [today] at 10am at the Office of the Prime Minister,” Mr Muinda said.
A total of 99,672 students wrote their UACE that started on Monday, November 12, 2018. UACE is the highest level of secondary education cycle in Uganda.
Of the said 99,672 candidates who sat the exams last year, 53,359 were male and 41,313 were female. The learners wrote their exams from 2,217 centres across the country.
