The best team lost, says Bisaso after Kiboga loss

KAMPALA. Proline coach Shafiq Bisaso believes “the best team lost” after watching his side suffer a 2-1 defeat for the first time this season at the hands of Big League debutants, Kiboga Young at StarTimes Stadium, Lugogo.

It looked bleak for Proline when Brian Mugume gave Kiboga a first half lead. But Ismail Kabugu then gave Proline some hope but it was Kiboga who took the lead again through Isaac Otto, for his fourth of the season.

Bisaso, who boasts of having introduced Kiboga’s coach Felix Ssekabuuza to coaching, was bitter with the outcome.
“Definitely the best team lost,” he said.

The best part of the game though was not the actual game but where it puts the best two teams of the Rwenzori group. Kiboga are top with 20 points, one better than Proline in second. This is likely to pile pressure on Proline, who eye a quick return to the top flight after last season’s relegation.

“It is not yet over because we picked positives and we should continue working hard,” Bisaso added.
