MPs approve UGX 220b for works on DRC roads
Parliament has approved UGX 220 billion for the construction of three roads in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC).
However, the MPs demanded to know the details of the memorandum of understanding between Uganda and the DRC.
The approved funds were part of the UGX 3.7 trillion supplementary budget the finance minister sought to facilitate government activities.
State House was given UGX 451 billion in supplementary funding.
