The sportier C-class
Now in its fifth generation, the Mercedes Benz C-class (W205) looks even more aggressive and bolder yet beautiful with its curvy exterior.
Below the grille is that aggressive looking bumper which also makes the sedan look sportier. Though usually a not so big sedan compared to the S-class and E-class, the newly designed C-class looks bigger and classy.
Mercedes says on request, the C-class has an optionally available fully automatic air suspension which works so intelligently that brings a whole new meaning to comfortable driving.
Interior
A well laid out instrument panel invites you to the smart looking interior. The steering wheel now has a flat bottom lending a sporty feel to the C-class.
Buttons on the driver’s door side and on the steering wheel allow for easy navigation when driving or relaxing. Communication in here is said to be an intelligent network of the latest technologies.
Airmatic air suspension
This is sheer driving pleasure at the highest peak. The newly developed chassis always brings power to the road dynamically.
The optional Airmatic air suspension works automatically and intelligently metres the degree of damping at each wheel. With Agility Select, the system provides five driving modes whose character can be defined from comfortable to sporty.
Connect with the world
Mercedes Benz Connect comprises various optional technologies with which to network the car with the outside world. With the multimedia system Comand Online and with Mercedes-Benz Apps mobile services such as internet radio and live traffic information are called up easily via the new touchpad.
LED lighting
The optionally available LED Intelligent Light System has more functions such as the active light function, cornering light function and the Adaptive High Beam Assist. All these illuminate the road even better with durable, energy saving LED technology.
Design and equipment
Although at first glance, the interior and exterior look strikingly similar, there are a few changes when it comes to finishing. Here, it depends which C-class you opt for that is a standard one, Avantgarde, Exclusive or the AMG line.
All of these cars feature different interior and exterior designs. On request, the upholstery is also available in leather.
The seats are available in Artico man-made leather or leather as an option. For instance, the standard C-class, Avantgarde and AMG all have a radiator grille with two louvres yet the Exclusive has three louvres and the star sign on the bonnet and not in the centre of the grille.
The sport rims also look different as is the wood trim or leather. But regardless what your choice eventually is, the C-class looks stunning both inside and out and will certainly command a new presence on the road.
The C-class is available in petrol engines C200, C250, C300, AMG C43 and AMG C63S. The new C-class is available with asset financing with all major banks.
