Treading the dotted line

In black and white or other colours, polka dots will get you noticed, in a playful but also serious way. This makes it quite versatile. It leaves you looking young, fresh and playful. Here are five ways you can pull the polka dot look off;

On a scarf
A polka dot scarf is a very versatile accessory you will use for years to come and can always enjoy in a brand new way.

Use it as a bag accessory in order to soften up a sturdy, classic work bag, wear it as a headscarf for a vintage-inspired look, or simply incorporate it into your outfit either as a belt or neck-wear. You will not be disappointed.

On a blouse or skirt
Opt for one of the latest cuts and good-quality fabrics for an official look. It’s a classic look that will work particularly well for you if you are smaller on top and in need of prints that could balance out your figure.
You want to draw attention to your bottom part? Cover it in large bold spots in a skirt!

The dress

A little dress or a full-length gown, if you are brave enough to pull off the dots, feel free. Wear them in big or small dots, depending on your fancy. But, beware that dots are eye catching even in small doses so only opt for the dress option if you have no qualms about your choice.

You can otherwise pair your dots with plain clothes to tone them down.

Accessories
If you rather wear the dots sparingly, wear the polkas in your accessories. A few dots on your shoe, a pair of small spotted studs or pendant earrings, a hair band…will help you show off your creative personality even in the most fashion-restricting situations.
