What you need to know:

Soccer. Micho’s boys were in imperious form as they dispatched the Taifa Stars 3-0 in Zanzibar two weeks ago.

KAMPALA. Cranes coach Micho Sredojevic has throughout the week emphasized the need of his players not to get carried away by their 3-0 first leg advantage ahead of today’s return leg against Tanzania at Nakivubo.
“Look, we shall not be fooled to think the tie is over. We are approaching the game with same focus and determination,” he insisted this week.

In truth though it is hard to see the Taifa Stars progressing to the final qualification round where Sudan awaits for a place at the 2016 Chan championship. To do so, they will have to win 4-0, a result that will match their biggest ever victory over Uganda since Edibily Lunyamila inspired them to a similar scoreline in an Afcon qualifier 21 years ago.
Recent history is against them too with one win, a draw and three losses from the previous Chan meetings between the two sides.

The Cranes also did a double over them on their way to the 2014 Chan finals with Frank Kalanda, who scored a brace in the return leg.
He is one of three players remaining in the squad from the team that featured in 2013.
With upcoming games for the Kobs, Micho also hinted at freshening things up ahead of today’s game which could see a surprise call up for lanky forward Fahad Toko.
