23-year-old Zahara crowned Miss Uganda

Uganda has a new beauty queen. Zahara Muhammed Nakiyaga beat 20 other finalists for the crown on Friday evening at the Miss Uganda finale that was held at Kampala Serena hotel.
Not only did she answer her questions correctly but she was very confident on stage. But what was also a bonus for her was that she was one of the crowd’s favorite right from the beginning in that when she won, the crowd roared with excitement.
Engrid Ritah Wanyana, 20, a student was second runner-up and Juliana Nabwowe, 23, also a student, was first runner up.
In December, 23-year-old Nakiyaga, a student, who walked away with a brand new car will represent Uganda at Miss World 2015 at Sanya, China.
