Opposition in Uganda have launched another campaign dubbed Kogikutteko as a way forward after MPs on Wednesday voted for the amendment of the constitution to remove the age limit cap.
According to the leader of Opposition, Ms Winnie Kizza, the whole Parliament process was fraudulent.
“We are going to challenge the process [in court]. We want to let Ugandans know that we played our part and now we are giving ball to the Ugandan in a new campaign K'ogikutteko,” she said while addressing journalists in Kampala on Thursday.

The MPs said the likes of Kitgum Municipality Member of Parliament, Beatrice Anywar popularly known as Mama Mabira will regret for paving way for Mr Museveni’s ‘life presidency project’ by voting to remove the age limit cap from the constitution.

"We even warned Speaker Rebecca Kadaga that what the MPs were doing was illegal but she gave us a deaf ear and continued with process," Ms Kiiza added.
