Brig Kyanda reappointed Chief of Staff Land Forces

Brig Leopold Kyanda has been reappointed as UPDF Chief of Staff Land Forces after graduating from the National Defence College in India.
He was first appointed to that position in May 2013, replacing then Major General Charles Angina (now Lt. General).
In December last year, the UPDF leadership sent Brigadier Kyanda, to India for training and replaced him with Brigadier Geoffrey Katsigazi.
In a related development, Brig Kayanja Muhanga has been appointed second Division Commander after a tour of duty as Contingent Commander under AMISOM.
