“I want to appreciate the President because all what we are celebrating today could not have happened if the President was not very strong. He is always very clear on interests concerning the country,” said Gen Kayihura
He was presiding over the launch of the first ever countrywide police medical caravan supported by the Iranian government at Busunju Police Station in Mityana district on Tuesday.

His excellence the Iranian Ambassador to Uganda Dr Amir Hossein Nickbin applauded Mr Kayihura for modernizing the force and pledged more equipment and financial support.

Dr Ahmed Kasule the Ugandan Ambassador to Iranian said the Iran –Uganda Friendship Mini Hospital that was built in Naguru will be officially opened in January next year.
