Kasiwukira’s widow arrested trying to leave the country

The widow of slain city businessman Eriya Bugembe Sebunya, also known as Kasiwukira who was
of murder charges in the high court in Kampala has been re-arrested.
Nabikolo together with her two colleagues, Catherine Kyasa and Collines Lubolwa was arrested on Tuesday at about 11pm while trying to leave Uganda to Kenya through Busia border.
They were travelling on a bus owned by Modern Bus Company.
The Bukedi region police spokesperson Sowali Kamulya confirmed that the suspects were arrested after Ms Nabikolo failed to present her passport raising suspicion on their travel.
He said at the immigration office, Ms Nabikolo only presented a driving permit as her travel document.
He said after subjecting them to body checks by the immigration officers at the border, Nabikolo’s passport was later discovered in one of the hand bags further raising suspicion on their motive although they claimed they were heading to Mombasa.
Kamulya added that Nabikolo’s failures to present and disclose herself raised suspicion on their movement.

The same court however, convicted her cousin Sandra Nakkungu and a police constable Jaden ashraf. Justice Musene ruled that Sandra Nakungu and Jaden had a common intention to kill Kasiwukira.
The former member of Kwagalana group died on October 17, 2014. He was knocked by a speeding car while he was jogging near his home in Muyenga, a suburb of Kampala.
