Sembabule District speaker dies

Sembabule District Councillors and technocrats have been left in grief and shock following the passing on of Sam Mugisha Kyamiru, who has been the district council speaker.
Mugisha died today (Thursday) evening at Nakasero Hospital in Kampala where he had been admitted a week ago after developing a serious backache.

According Mr Jude Kiganda, the Sembabule District vice chairperson and Mateete town council district representative, the deceased developed back ache two weeks ago and was first admitted at Bulamu Medical Center in Sembabule town, from where he was transferred to Nakasero Hospital.
"We are very shocked to hear about his death. This something we had all taken lightly," Mr Kiganda told this reporter.
