Student kidnapped in Kasese

The incident has been confirmed by the Rwenzori East Regional Police Commander, Mr. Julius Ceaser Tusingwire who said that the victim has been identified by her relatives as Gloria Biira who was kidnapped last evening on her way from picking her senior six UACE results from Bwera secondary school.
A student in her senior six vacation has been kidnapped in Bwera town in Kasese district by unknown individuals who blindfolded and forced her into a parked vehicle and immediately sped off.
The incident has been confirmed by the Rwenzori East Regional Police Commander, Mr. Julius Ceaser Tusingwire who said that the victim has been identified by her relatives as Gloria Biira who was kidnapped last evening on her way from picking her senior six UACE results from Bwera secondary school.

Tusingwire said her whereabouts remain scanty though she was asked by the kidnappers to speak to her relatives on phone and tell them that she did not know where she was being kept.
He said police has started investigations into the matter and informed police headquarters in Kampala about the missing girl.
He has warned girls to stop moving alone and at night since they are the major targets of the ongoing wave of kidnaps in the country.
