GULU. Residents of Cwero Trading Centre in Paicho Sub County, Gulu District on Saturday woke up to shocking news after two lovers were found dead inside a salon.

Police identified the deceased as Christopher Watum, 29, and Sarah Ayaa, 25.

A police officer at the scene who spoke to this reporter on condition of anonymity, said the owner of the salon became suspicious after Watum delayed to open which was unusual.

When he reportedly peeped through the keyhole of the one roomed house, he saw them lying unresponsively.
Reports indicate that the pair vomited before they died.

However, it is not clear whether the two were poisoned or died as a result of suffocation.

Police say the cause of their death can only be established by autopsy results.
