Woman dies in Kampala car crash

One person has been confirmed dead in a motor accident at Kyebando roundabout involving a Toyota Rav4 UAK 217C and a mobile crane UAX 216S.
It is alleged the driver of the Rav4, Nanyonga Aida Esther, a resident of Nansana, Wakiso District was trying to overtake when her car collided with the crane and died instantly.
Kampala Metropolitan police spokesperson Luke Owoyesigyire said her body has been taken to Mulago National Referral Hospital for postmortem as investigations into the accident continue.
“The Two vehicles have also been towed away and traffic flow is now normal,” he said.
In a related development another accident happened at Our Lady of Africa Church Mbuya, Kampala as a lady was trying to park and ended up accelerating towards a waiting shade.
