The Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS) and the Islamic group of Boko Haram are creations of the US and Israel, Sudanese President said.

President Omar al-Bashir, in a public address on Tuesday, said Sudan had no role in the massacre of 21 Egyptian Christians in Libya.

Egyptian media have accused Sudan of being behind the executions, which took place on Monday.

President Bashir claimed the Israeli intelligence of (Mossad) and the US Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) created the extremist movements to sabotage the image of Islam and to get an opportunity to intervene in the domestic affairs of the Islamic countries.

The Sudanese President dismissed the accusations against Sudan of sponsoring the terrorism groups.

He called on the US to remove Sudan from the list of the countries sponsoring terrorism.

“The IS in Libya and in other Islamic countries, Boko Haram and other terrorist groups are American and Israeli made to destabilise the Islamic countries and sabotage the image of Islam,” President Bashir claimed.

“The Western intelligence along with the Israelis are targeting Sudan by all means to link it with terrorists groups,” he alleged.

On Monday, Sudan condemned the weekend execution of 21 Egyptian Coptic Christians in Libya.

The Sudanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs described the killings in a press release as "a brutal crime" that was inconsistent with the rules and teachings of Islam.

The statement expressed Sudan’s solidarity with the Egyptian people and government and the families of the the victims, stressing that "Sudan asserts its total condemnation of terrorism in all its forms and manifestations".

Libya has repeatedly accused Sudan and Qatar of supporting the Libyan Islamic militias. However, the Sudanese national army has denied the accusations.
