Mutyaba says Esperance calmness lesson to KCCA

Kampala. Esperance are in town and KCCA are ready.
The Tunisians communicated on Twitter their departure from Tunis to Kampala yesterday and KCCA wished them a safe journey.
But when the two giants from their respective countries meet at Namboole on Saturday in the return leg of their Caf Champions League, there won’t be game mercies.
KCCA, who last evening moved their training from Lugogo to the match venue at Namboole, know that maximum points are the bare minimum if they are to keep their quarterfinal chances high.
Yet they come up against a team to whom character is hardly a problem as seen by their calm rally from 2-0 down to beat the Ugandans 3-2 last Tuesday, and one that has lost only once in the last eight attempts on the road. It is that composure they showed when they went down to an own goal and another strike from Jackson Nunda inside 24 minutes that provided lessons to the visitors.
“You have to respect and learn from a team that is 2-0 down that early but continues playing their football,” appreciated Muzamiru Mutyaba, a man not alien to calmness himself. “Even when they conceded, they stuck to their philosophy, they kept believing. They didn’t start kicking high balls. That is identity.
“We are already working on our style but we can learn from the best. On Saturday, We continue improving by also playing our way.” His manager Mike Mutebi has been on this song for long now, and will be pleased that his players are also aspiring.
The hosts will be inspired by their formidable home form in which they have won eight out of nine matches since early last year. The other one ended 1-1 with Mamelodi Sundowns.

A deal is said to have already been agreed between involved parties, and the away tie in Tunisia looks to have been Shaban’s last match in KCCA colours.
