The mere appearance of some of the Fun Factory comedians at Karma’s Bar and Grill in Gulu Town last Friday night was enough to prepare the revellers for the rib-cracking jokes they were to enjoy later in the evening.

The full-house crowd that convened to catch the comedy show courtesy of Mirinda, were thrilled by jokes from Mendo Sevo, alias Teacher Mpamire, Dickson Zizanga, and Raymond Lusabira, among others.

Zizinga, backed by his popularity as an actor in the popular TV series, The Hostel, and his current comical skits on NTV, cracked many a reveller’s ribs when he joked about how men can escape the “unnecessary” spending on their lovers.

The show ended at around midnight, but DJ Baby Wilz kept fans busy on the dance floor untill the wee hours of the morning.

The upcountry Mirinda Comedy Tour will climax with a show at Laftaz Comedy Lounge at Centenary Park, Kampala in December.

Tracy Kakuru, Pepsi brand executive, said: “Mirinda comedy started out this year. This is a whole lot of different approach we are using to extend our roots close to our customers in all the regions that have been supporting our brand for all this time.”
