As you know by now, Hope from Burundi is the winner of TPF6. He wins Shs150m plus a recording contract with Sony Music, South Africa. He emerged victor after tussling it out with contestants from five East African countries.
The show began with Principal Eric Wainaina together with all the contestants officially opening the show with a tribute to Nelson Mandela.

Kenya’s finest, Sauti Soul was another act of the night. They put up beautiful performances singing to a mega mix of Gentleman. The biggest East African reality TV show saw our own Daisy the only female contestant in the final four.

Daisy came third after performing legendary Tabu Ley’s Muzina with Season 3 winner, Davis. She later performed her original track, Rain. The Kenyan duo Josh and Amos came in second place while Hisia from Tanzania took the fourth position. Hope with his massive voice from Burundi, began to pose a threat to the other contestants four weeks back, after his performances were enjoyed by the audience who were singing to his beat every time he took the stage. He always sung with passion and confidence. So when the finale came, the people voted the man whose stage presence they had fallen in love with.

For the first time in the history of TPF, the top six contestants recorded songs and shot high quality videos that were shown throughout the show. This way, they are finally one step into the making the star. But what will these songs’ reception be? Only time will tell. For now, we are waiting for TPF7.
