Konshens, Busy Signal concert for August

Crown Beverages Limited under its flagship brand, Pepsi announced on Monday that they will inject shs200million to bring back international artistes Konshens and Busy Signal.

The two Jamaican artistes have been earmarked by Pepsi for a concert dubbed “Dance with Champions Concert,” which is slated for August 28, at the Lugogo Cricket Oval.

Unveiling the concert at Sheraton Kampala Hotel, Mr. Jeff Ssekandi, Customer Marketing Manager Crown Beverages Limited, said sponsoring the Konshens and Busy Signal concert fits well with Pepsi’s Live For Now brand promise.

"Konshens and Busy Signal are an extremely talented and ambitious duo. They have shown their skill on the stage and in musical circles they have demonstrated professionalism and dedication; some of the attributes that Pepsi lives by,” Mr. Ssekandi said.

Konshens, 29, last came to Kampala in August 2013 in a Pepsi-sponsored Live For Now concert. He is most known for hits like Gyal a Bubble, talk bout me, couple up, no worry bout them among others.

Busy Signaln on the other hand has found his way in many Ugandan's hearts through his come over song and sealed his position with the dancehall hit bedroom bully.
