The performances came to an end a few minutes past midnight but revellers were chanting for more of Katumwa yet clearly the show had ended

He has been off the music scene since the start of the year after the breakthrough of new talents like Micheal Kitanda and Brian Mugenyi, but Isaiah Katumwa last Saturday proved he is master of the saxophone during the re-opening of Bugoloobi-based Jazz Ville bar.
The hangout that had closed for refurbishment so the management would comply with sound pollution that Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA) had addressed to them, surely did follow the orders by redesigning with state of the art interior designs with strong sound proof materials.
Not only the sound proof, the venue is well lit as well as fitted with comfortable seats that let revellers enjoy the beautiful performances of the various music stars.

The evening started off with smooth jazz music before venue owner Chris Ireland stepped on stage to offer what he has in stock before Code 9 band began doing renditions of various songs.
The nights’ star Katumwa came on stage at 11pm and revellers couldn’t contain their joy by cheering and clapping for him as he majestically blew his saxophone to the stage.
Clad in a white shirt, Katumwa performed songs like Sunrise, My joy, Hosana and Sinza in a soulful and fantastic feel that made revellers to sing along with him.
The instrumentalists were also impressive much as they offered their skills for him like David Pragmo on the Keyboard, Micheal Kitanda on the saxophone, Charmat Muchaga on the guitar among others.
The performances came to an end a few minutes past midnight but revellers were chanting for more of Katumwa yet clearly the show had ended.
