Besigye, Mbidde arrested

Former Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) presidential candidate Dr Kizza Besigye has been arrested barely an hour to the anticipated Parliament debate on the removal of age limit cap from the Constitution.
Dr Besigye, a four time presidential candidate was arrested in down town Kampala where he had gone to rally his supporters against the removal of Article 102 (b) that caps presidential age limit at 75 years of age, from the Constitution.
Dr Besigye refused to disembark his car forcing police officers led by Kampala Central Police Station (DPC) Joseph Bakaleke to tow it away to the Central Police Station where it is parked. Besigye is still inside the car.

Meanwhile, East African Legislative Assembly Member Fred Mukasa Mbidde has also been arrested.
