What you need to know:

  • Mr Ongwen is the first former child soldier and the first of the five top LRA warlords indicted by ICC in 2005 to face trial at the court.
  • Others who were indicted include Raska Lukwiya, Vincent Otti, Okot Odhiambo [all presumed] and elusive LRA leader Joseph Kony, who is still alive.

The International Criminal Court (ICC) has handed over assortment of video screening equipment to 23 select parishes from four case locations connected to the trial of former Lord’s Resistance Army (LRA) rebel commander Dominic Ongwen.
