Missing Boda Boda cyclist found dead in Isingiro

A 17-year-old Boda Boda cyclist Ssali Faisal, who went missing last month has been found dead.

The deceased, a resident of Kaberebere cell, Kaberebere Town Council in Isingiro District reportedly went missing on June 29, 2019. The deceased was operating his Boda Boda business in Kaberebere Town Council.

His family members reported the matter to Police in Kaberebere on July 3, 2019 after waiting for him in vain.

Rwizi regional police spokesperson Samson Kasasira said that the police worked closely with the residents to search for him up to Tuesday when his body was recovered in a farm in Nyarubungo II cell, Masha Sub County.

“The deceased was found tied with ropes. His motorcycle registration number UEV 922G is yet to be recovered and no suspects have been arrested in connection with the crime, but investigations are still ongoing,” Mr Kasasira said.
