The Inspector General of Government (IGG), Justice Irene Mulyagonja, and other nominated Court of Appeal and High Court judges are today at Parliament to appear before the Appointments Committee for vetting.

President Museveni last week appointed Justice Mulyagonja to the Court of Appeal bench a move that would see her leave the IGG job before the end of her tenure early next year.

Justice Mulyagonja was ushered in at Parliament at about 10.30am and had a moment of her own as she tried to escape from waiting photographers by hiding behind a Parliamentary receptionist while making her way to the VIP lounge.

Two other Court of Appeal nominees Mr Muzamiru Kibedi and Ms Monica Mugenyi Kalyegira are also present.
