Police officer in trouble over Monitor #StayInYourLane campaign

Police say they have arrested one of their own and issued him with a penalty ticket of Shs100,000 after a photo of him driving on the wrong side of the road was published in the Daily Monitor of March 14.
Cpl Yasin Kiyemba was reportedly arrested today (Thursday) following the publication of a photo in which he was seen driving on the opposite side of Yusuf Lule road on March 13 at 5:38pm.
“Thank you Abubaker Lubowa, for your vigilance and sharing a photo through #StayInYourLane, of a police officer driving on the opposite side of Yusuf Lule road. The police driver has been apprehended and issued with a penalty ticket,” police tweeted on Thursday evening.
