Bruno Metsu, Senegal 2002 World Cup coach, dies
Bruno Metsu, the coach who led Senegal to the 2002 World Cup is dead, reports says.
Metsu died following a battle with cancer.
He was aged 59.
The football manager with the rock star looks, coached several teams after retiring as a player.
His most famous triumph was the Teranga Lions 1-0 victory over France in the opening game of the 2002 Fifa World Cup.
The tournament was held jointly by South Korea and Japan.
