Kampala. Finance Minister Matia Kasaija has urged accountants to help entrepreneurs grow their businesses as well as teach them about tax compliance.
“Accountants can greatly contribute to the economy of Uganda by way of making clients tax compliant and assisting them in managing their business better,” he said.
Mr Kasaija was speaking at a client appreciation dinner organised by accounting firm Grant Thorton held in Kampala last week.
