Carrot and pineapple juice for better health

Carrots are an excellent source of Vitamins A, K, C, E and B6. They are also rich in calcium, potassium, magnesium, phosphorus, sodium and some trace minerals. These combine to give carrots natural healing properties said to kill off bacteria and viruses. Raw carrot juice has also successfully been used in many cancer treatments. In addition to this, carrots also remove toxins from the body and improve the health of the liver and digestive tract.

Carrots boost the immune system by increasing the production and performance of the white blood cells, helping us to build resistance to various infections. The eyes too, benefit greatly from carrots which nourish the optical system and help protect the eyes from degeneration and various eye disorders.

Pineapples are high in Vitamin C and contain bromelain an anti-inflammatory agent that helps treat sore muscles and joint pains. Pineapples are also good for the heart as they help reduce blood clots in the blood stream.

Both carrots and pineapples contain anti-oxidants, substances that protect our cells from damage and keep them healthy. A small glass of either carrot or pineapple juice is effective in treating some intestinal worms in children, if taken daily first thing in the morning for one week.
