If you want to escape the madding crowds in the capital Ssese Habitat is a good choice. It offers this at the summit of Bugala, Ssese’s largest island so from atop you can view the lake and let in the breeze. On 22nd you can take part in the karaoke performances from 9pm to 11pm then disco till dawn and on 23rd there will be a disco dance, nyama-choma, and campfire till late.

On Christmas Eve, there will a beach bottle party with both oldies and latest hits played the evening through Christmas Day, there will be a special vibrant and renowned artist in live performance and then disco till dawn.
Christmas will start with breakfast at 7.30am till 9a.m and lunch will be served between 12.30pm and 2.20pm. The resort promised all tribes of drinks, BBQ, campfire, steam bath and sauna.
For clients who will be spending the festive holiday the standard rate per person per night will be Shs100,000 and then if you are to pop for the Christmas lunch it will got for Shs25,000 per plate which comes with a drink.

One Minute South located on Bulago Island
It is a new and unique beach villa rental on Bulago. It is a comfortable and private with deserted golden beaches, cliff top infinity swimming pool, plenty of activities for all the family and fully attentive house and kitchen staff. You will have a delicious menus, BBQs and picnics.
It is an island environment where you can play volleyball, cycling, swimming, walking, badminton plus water sports & fishing. You can engage in some indoor activities like watch DSTV, library, movies and board games.
You can get there by boat or chartered plane, with close proximity to Entebbe International Airport and Kampala.
You can rent the main villa with four bedrooms and the guest house with three bedrooms. For the 3-14 guests including all available facilities guests will pay 500 US dollars for the first night, 450$ for the second night and 400$ for the subsequent nights.
There are special offer for couples for 350$ for the first night and 300$ for the subsequent nights.
The above rates are inclusive of return transport on our boat, the Meridian, from the Waterfront Club, Entebbe. Boat time is flexible.

Crater Bay Cottages in Kabale
The cottages are your chance to relax and escape to the far west, offering spectacular landscape and beauty. It has a camp and number of grass-thatched cottages with extended beautiful gardens.
This Christmas, part from the good food there will boat rides to the beautiful islands and bird watching. There is a well-stocked bar and restaurant with a selection of A la carte menus.

Hairy Lemon in Jinja
If you do use your own private transportation, please leave vehicles at the landing dock where they will be cared and take a ferry across by a canoe.
It is a little beauty on an island with accommodation and your reason to take a trip out of town this festive season. There are bandas and you can pitch your tent on our hillside campsite.
If you are camping you will part with 22$, if you’re to stay in the dormitory you will pay 26$, in the double occupancy Jessies Barn for 30$, double occupancy Sugar Shack for 51$. 25$ will be charged 25$ each at the newly opened River cottage but those below six years are not charged at all.

Kingfisher Safaris Resort in Jinja
It is a luxurious resort and affordable this festive season. You have a range of facilities to choose from because there is a swimming pool, sizeable botanical gardens, a children playground among other in-house facilities. You can choose to camp and go for boat rides as well.
Bed and breakfast in the family unit will cost you Shs,185,000 standard but there is a cheaper option (economic) for Shs165, 000 and then the double room goes for Shs,145, 000 while the economic double goes for Shs,115, 000. There are single rooms for Shs,95,000 and suits for Shs,195,000.
For adults who would like to go camping, you will part with Shs69,000 whereas children will be charged Shs40, 000. For half an hour boat ride adults will pay Shs50,000 and children Shs25,000.
