Kagole sacking case now pending judgment

Mr Kagole Kivumbi

The trial of a case in which a lawyer is challenging the indefinite forced leave of former Judiciary permanent secretary Kagole Kivumbi  has been completed and is now pending judgment.

Presiding Kampala High Court Judge, Musa Ssekaana, told the parties (lawyer Paul Mukiibi and Attorney General) that his decision will be delivered on notice and that they will be informed accordingly when it's ready.
Lawyer Mukiibi is challenging the decision of the head of Public Service, Dr John Mitala to send Mr Kagole on indefinite forced leave over a year ago.
Around mid-last year, Dr Mitala sent Mr Kagole on forced leave on behalf of President and replaced him with Mr Pius Bigirimana.
