At least 230 died in traffic accidents in July
Police has expressed concern at the deteriorating discipline on the roads leading to a surge in traffic accidents. During the weekly police briefing, Traffic Police spokesperson, Faridah Nampiima, revealed that over 230 people perished in accidents last month due to reckless driving and speeding. Meanwhile, police has cautioned private vehicle owners to stop carrying passengers without a passenger license.
