Gov't de-registers 6 NGOs over fraud
The National Bureau for Non-Governmental Organisations has decided to ban six NGOs for defrauding their stakeholders and forging documents among other offenses.
According to the Executive Director of the NGO Bureau, Stephen Okello, the affected organizations include Agape Sanctuary Ministries International, Christ Alive Glorious Ministries International, Equal Opportunities for Women and Children in Uganda, Dankind Academy and Global Health Community Empowerment.
