NRM retains one mayoral seat in Kampala

Opposition National Unity Platform party has won four of the five division mayoral seats in Kampala according to results declared by the Electoral Commission at the District Tally Center in Kololo. NUP won seats in Makindye, Rubaga, Nakawa and Kawempe divisions and the remaining seat of Central won by the ruling NRM.
