Taking stock: LOP gives accountability for first session of 11th Parliament
The Opposition in Parliament has defended last week's move by the August House to increase the allowances of legislators by Ohs 193 billion in the next Financial Year. The Leader of Opposition Mathias Mpuuga, says it is unreasonable for the budgets of ministries, departments and other agencies to increase yet Parliament, which does oversight over these institutions, is poorly facilitated.
