Many women who love dressing up will tell you that choosing a dress to wear for an evening event or outing does not come easy.
A woman may try out ten dresses before finally deciding which one to wear to a particular function.
For illustration purposes, renowned Ugandan designer and stylist, Abbas Kaijuka dressed up Moreen Mungu, a model, in four different outfits to guide readers on how to dress for an evening out.

How to wear the four different looks
The black dress with coat
This is how you make a subtle, sexy, yet elegant appearance. This body-hugging mermaid glam dress, with a mesh bodice is paired with a long jacket worn as a cape coat, to help focus and flaunt only the necessary body parts such as the cleavage and curves. This is a two-in-one look as both the pieces can be worn separately and make distinctive bold fashion statements. This look is inspired by the red-carpet glamour.

The blue dress
This is a well-fitted sky blue tulle petal gown. It is fully handmade and stitched out of plastic petal puff holders by creative re-use. It is light and simply chic.

The red gown
This is a Cinderella gown put together by pairing a detachable flare round skirt and a dramatic ruffled top to arrive at this look. The top can be worn diagonally as a single arm or as an off-shoulder top. This red ensemble can be worn to a red carpet fashion event, a ballroom or wedding.
