Walking in the style footsteps of a top model

Brenda Mutara, has over the years featured in a number of runway shows including the Abryanz Style and Fashion Awards (ASFAs), Diaspora Fashion Show, and Mavuno Yetu, among others.
She has showcased for both local and international designers. Some of the renown designers Mutara has worked with include; Sylvia Owori, Gloria Wavamunno, Stella Atal, Anita Beryl and David Tlale (South Africa), among others.
She has also featured in advertisements and in photoshoots for fashion magazines including the once popular African Woman.
Mutara likes to try different styles that not only suit her body but also allow for comfort.
The outfits worn by the model in the photoshoot below cost her between Shs30,000 to Shs100,000 and similar items can be purchased from different fashion shops and boutiques including Green shops around Kampala.

The African dress
This dress was made by her younger sister, Jean Mutara, an upcoming fashion designer. Other African outfits of similar designs cost Shs100,000. The designer can be reached on Facebook on the same name.
The blue pants:
These culottes, which are loose pants hanging right below the knee. Sometimes, these pants hang and look like a skirt. Mutara paired her culottes with a black bralette and black heels. The pants cost her Shs100,000 from a boutique in town.
Floral skirt
This cost her Shs30,000 from one of the Green shops in town. These shops are known for selling second hand clothes and shoes.
White dress with a touch of floral print
The beautiful outfit was purchased from Polo boutique, a clothing store in Kampala. It cost her Shs20,000.
Skinny jeans
These cost her Shs25,000 from a boutique in town. The green cropped top on the other hand cost Shs20,000.
Shoes
For this photo-shoot, Mutara picked out black heels, boots, blue shoes and wedges (which she hardly wears).
