KAMPALA.

It’s not often that the Nile Special Premiership serves an enchanting menu of ties like the one upon us today. All five fixtures on card are capable of delivering the game of the season especially with the campaign heading for the last bend.
Table leaders Buzz Pirates head to Entebbe to face fifth placed Plascon Mongers, in form Toyota Buffaloes host title chasing Betway Kobs, title hopefuls Rimula Rhinos host champions Heathens who have bowed out of the race but have pride to play for.
Away from the top of the table, the bottom four sides come up against each other all desperate for points to keep them out of the relegation zone. Warriors hope to complete a double over Hippos while Rams seek vengeance when they host Impis at the Graveyard.
Pirates, more than anyone else need a good result to keep them flying as they edge closer to a maiden league title but Mongers have never been such good hosts. You have to work hard to leave the House of pain with points, a reality the Sea Robbers captain Ivan Magomu is well aware of.
“Entebbe is not an easy place to play from but we can only focus on us and not our opponents,” he told SCORE. “We have to focus on our game and hopefully come back with all the points,” he added.
Kobs who had a midweek game against Hippos in Namilyango only managed a recovery session on Thursday with the Buffaloes in mind. Coach Ronnie Luttakome was not head over heels for his side`s win over Hippos but expects his side to step up against Buffaloes.
“The game was a bit scrappy but we will take the result,” he said of Wednesday`s game before averting to the Buffaloes scare. “Buffaloes will give us a hard game, but we know what we want and will work hard in the week to achieve it,” he promised.
Luttakome`s men have a chance to go level on points with Pirates or overtake them if they win with a bonus point and Pirates failed to earn the extra point of lose in Entebbe.
