Kampala. Relatives of a man, who was killed and dumped by the roadside in Lungujja, Rubaga in Kampala on Sunday afternoon, have offered to help police in tracing his killers.
Kampala Metropolitan Police spokesperson Luke Owoyesigyire said Mike Kisenyi’s parents had called confirming that the deceased was their son and wondered how he was killed.
“Some people have contacted us confirming that they know the deceased and that they are coming to pick his body. We are waiting for them,” he said yesterday.

Kisenyi’s body was reportedly dumped by people driving in a grey Premio that sped off afterwards. Witnesses said the driver hit a hump and staggered a little as he drove at breakneck speed.
“This act was witnessed by some residents who called our officers at Lungujja Police Station. The witnesses have already narrated to us what they saw and we will work with them including relatives and friends to hunt these killers,” Mr Owoyesigyire said.

Although Mr Owoyesigyire declined to divulge details of the preliminary investigations, sources said Kisenyi, who was a resident of Mutundwe Zone, in Lubaga, could have been suffocated to death since his body had no bruises, scratches or wounds.
